Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using Nyfic.app (the “Service”), whether through the website on your desktop, mobile, or any related software, you (“you” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
  • We may modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date above and notify you. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Age Requirement & Parental Consent

  • If you are under 13 (U.S.) or under 16 (EU/EEA), you must obtain verifiable parental permission before providing us with any personal data.
  • Parents may review or delete their child’s data by contacting us at contact@nyfic.app.

Use of the Service

  • You may only use the Service for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for any content you upload or generate.
  • AI features are provided via OpenAI’s ChatGPT API and learn from your study data. Responses may be inaccurate or incomplete, so always verify important information.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party providers such as Notion. Connecting a Notion workspace stores an access token and enables us to read the content you select. Your use of Notion is governed by their own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

Cookies and Essential Technologies

We rely on strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies provided through Supabase to support core features such as authentication, real-time updates, and server-side rendering. These essential tools help the app function and are not used for advertising, analytics, marketing, or A/B testing.

User Research Communications

  • By creating an account, you agree that Nyfic may occasionally contact you by email for user research purposes, such as requesting feedback on new features, usability, or product direction.
  • These communications will never be promotional marketing. You can opt out at any time by replying to the email or contacting us at support@nyfic.app

Ownership of Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload or create while using the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process and display it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

Subscriptions and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Current prices are displayed on the Pricing page.
  • You can start or cancel a subscription from the Settings page at any time. Cancellation stops future charges immediately.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without prior notice if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease at once.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent, Nyfic disclaims all warranties—express or implied—including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nyfic will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on AI-generated content.
